It was just announced that Alex Tanguay has been traded to Montreal along with the fifth-round pick in exchange for Montreal's first-rounder (25th overall) and a 2nd-rounder from '09.
Sure he's not an Avalanche anymore but come on, you still have to feel a bit invested him ;)

This is fantastic. I hated having to see him play against us eight times a year. Of course, I would have only seen him six next year, but one is much better.
Absolutely. I'm interested to see how he does in Montreal. The Habs have lacked a bonafide first line and Tanguay should - ideally - help fill that role.
